Reverend Garrett, hailing from Bristol, Virginia, is a Virginia High School alumnus. He has held multiple positions at his local church, such as Sunday School teacher, Music Minister, and Lay Leader. His ministry started in 2014 with his first appointment in Russell County, VA.*
He is actively involved in leadership committees throughout the Clinch Mountain District of the UMC and the Holston Conference. Outside church, Reverend Garrett tutors Algebra Readiness in Washington County Schools and coaches football, basketball, and baseball at the middle and high school levels. He takes pride in supporting community youth.*
A passionate artist, Reverend Garrett enjoys making art. His wife Jeannie, son Evan, and daughters Emilie, Kyndal, and Aubrey offer him encouragement and support in all his endeavours.
