Reverend Garrett is a native of Bristol, Virginia and a graduate of Virginia High School. He has held various positions within the local church. Those positions include Sunday School teacher, Music Minister, and Lay Leader. He surrendered to the call of ministry in 2014 and began his first appointment in 2015 in Russell County, VA.
Reverend Garrett is involved within many aspects of the Clinch Mountain District of the UMC, and is heavily involved within the church and the Youth group.
He is supported in the ministry by his wonderful wife Jeannie, his son and three daughters. Blessed and highly favored to be in the ministry doing the work of God.
